PPC Profits: Best Products to Promote on PPC
While having some knowledge about how Pay Per Click works and promoting just about anything, you can still make good money, the secret to massive PPC Profits is actually in what you choose to promote, how you approach it and build your Ad Groups around. Of course, you have to know much more, but these are the core elements.
PPC Profits: How and Where To Find Products to Promote on PPC
Before even starting to build PPC campaigns, a good idea is to find out what products are good to promote on PPC.
Thousands of advertisers are promoting millions of products. Things you cannot even imagine people buy!
So the first goal before setting up your campaign, is to choose what products to promote. Although you might want to guess, or just go to ClickBank marketplace and choose some high gravity product, we suggest you go another way.You either need to do your research well (here`s a great post about how to do it: PPC Help - Promote What People are Buying!), or you need to use tools available, and get the list of things you can promote, in a few minutes.
I will show you how to use PPCDynamite to find items that people are buying.
Let`s look into the “Computers and Networking” category, and search for “notebook laptop”. We get a list of items that are really hot selling (they have over 20 bids and over 20 watchers on eBay!). We choose to promote, say, “New HP Pavilion DV6 DV6T Laptop 16″ Notebook Core 2 Duo”:

Now, as we know this item is a good selling one - let`s search for merchants that we can promote this exact item for.
Let`s go to CJ.com, go to “Get links”, and search for Products - enter “HP Pavilion DV6 DV6T Core 2 Duo” as a product keyword. We get a whole list of identical products to promote - let`s just choose one and get our link. (Keep in mind you need to know if the merchant allows direct linking for this product, and if it does, we`re good to go).
Now, as we have the link ready, we just need to create the campaign around it!
We create a new Ad Group in PPCDynamite, and insert our two main keywords for this item, so PPCDynamite generates us many variations of the same keywords. It looks like this:

We just enter two keywords in the left field, choose the “space permutations as the option to generate more keywords, and click on “Generate”. When done, just click on “Copy to AdEditor”.
Now, let`s go to AdEditor tab, and enter the ad title and text, as well as the URL and the destination URL. see what we got in the AdEditor:

Our keywords are already copied here, we just need to choose our max bids (we`ll set them at 0.10 just for testing, as this should work very well for such a targeted ad group. We can increase the bids later on if we don`t get any clicks). The last thing to do is set the “Track keywords” option so we know which keyword exactly brought the sale. And that`s it - this ad group is done! With the keywords already generated, each having a unique destination URL, each having their match options ready and bids set.
When we are done creating the ad groups, we will export them from PPCDynamite, and import to Google AdWords. If things look good and we want to get our ads live, we`ll just post them to our AdWords account.
By creating the ad groups this way, I save hours, and days on finding what to promote, and setting the whole ad group. This is why I can actually have hundreds of ad groups running
Because creating them takes just a few minutes, and this lets me make more PPC profits, in less time.
