PPC Help - Promote What People Are Buying!

The best performing PPC campaigns are the ones where you promote things that are in demand. That`s pretty obvious, but how do you know what`s in demand?

Well, there are actually two ways to find this out. One is by going through a specific process manually, and the other one is by doing it all automatically, with a click of a button. By using PPCDynamite pay per click software, of course ;) So get some PPC help, and start saving lots of your valuable time!

Now, I`ll show you both ways.

Here`s some PPC help, and a golden way to find most popular products manually, even if you`re not doing PPC!

To do our research, let`s go to eBay – the world`s biggest marketplace. Millions are spent on eBay every single day, and I can without a single doubt say that eBay data could be the only thing you need to find out what is selling and what is not. Yes, you can check the keywords at the Google Keyword Tool or any other keyword tool, but keywords only tell you what people SEARCH FOR, and NONE of the keyword tools are going to show you what people BUY.

Ok, let`s use eBay for the research - to see what you could promote to make some good money. Let`s go to eBay Pulse (www.pulse.ebay.com).

You will be shown 10 products and product categories we know are the most popular – and, of course making good money. But this does not tell us much. Let`s scroll to the very bottom of the page where it says “See more eBay Pulse Categories…”

If we choose Laptops & Notebooks category, we`ll get this:
ebay3
We see some popular searches, as well as some of the most watched items. Sounds good.

However, if we go to Dicital Cameras section, eBay shows us some more valuable information, such as „Popular Products“ in that category:

ebay4

This is better. Now we see 8 products that are popular, so we know people buy them – and we might want to promote them. Let`s choose #1 from the list above – Canon PowerShot SD1200.

Now let`s go to the list of digital cameras that are selling on the marketplace. We can get a little better view of how this exact camera is selling by choosing only „Completed listings“ option on the category we`re at.

We get a report like this:

ebay5
See the column on the right side full of red numbers? They mean that this particular camera was listed for sale on eBay marketplace, but was not sold. Hmm, does not look very attractive – most of the cameras that were listed, did not sell. So we probably don`t want to promote the Canon PowerShot SD1200 for now.

Let`s try another one – Canon EOS 50D.

ebay6
The statistics of EOS 50D are much better – these cameras sell. So we are done with the research for a product to promote, and choose Canon EOS 50D to build our PPC campaign around.

And I am not saying you have to sell eBay`s products – absolutely not! (although you can). What you can do, is find exactly the same items on other affiliate networks (CJ.com, Shareasale.com have plenty), where you get higher commissions, and you`re allowed to link directly to merchant. (That is, the merchant allows direct linking). And just build your campaign around the keywords for that item!

But finding what to promote by going through all this is so time consuming!

If we do our research this way, checking several pages JUST TO FIND ONE product, we would need days, if not weeks, to find 50, 100 or even more products to promote. Additionally, this data is not enough – if there are thousands of people doing their research this way, then promoting the same 8 digital cameras that were shown as the „Popular Products“, with hundreds, or even thousands of other affiliates, will get us nowhere.

So let`s be honest, doing it this way to find more products (and I am talking hundreds and thousands of products), and to find out whether they are selling or not, you would need to watch eBay marketplace like a hawk for months, unless you had hundreds of employees, each doing it every day, all day long.

Easy Way To Find What to Promote

Let`s take a look at how we can get the same information, and much more of it, with just one click of a button, of PPCDynamite:

Just how time saving that is? You can literally find thousands of products that you KNOW for sure are selling!

And just go build your campaigns on PPC!
